New digs.
I was going to wait to post this. But since I have nothing better to write about today, I figured I would show off my new desk. I have wanted the Pottery Barn Bedford Desk for an incredibly long time. I really wanted the Project Table too but I digress. I googled something like “Pottery Barn Bedford Knock off” and came to this site. Well, golly! There is a good looking knock off out there. Here is the desk I wanted from Pottery Barn.
Here is the desk I bought for 1/2 the price when it was on sale at JC Penney. The chair is from Target. It was a set of two but the set was still only $68. Cheaper than the chair I wanted plus I didn’t think I wanted to put a rolling chair on my rug there or a protector. The regular chair suits my needs and is visually clean too.
I did splurge on the Pottery Barn Bedford desk accessories. I have been meaning to upgrade the hardware too. I just haven’t got around to searching and purchasing yet. Ken hasn’t had a chance to mount the surround speaker to the wall yet so it’s hanging out on my desk right now too. The desk has made my crafting life much easier. All my 8.5″ x 11″ colored paper is the in drawers to the left. All my “tools” are the drawers to the right. It’s not messy and cluttered. It shows pretty well so I am a happy camper.

Ohhhh love it! Possibly because it reminds me of my desk! I love the dark color and the desk accessories! Congrats on your new work space!

Way to go on finding the deal! I too love Pottery Barn, but most of the time their items don’t match my budget!
