run disney.

Wow, the past couple of weeks have gone by so fast!!! Last weekend was Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend. I have to say that Disney’s advertisements of the event are true. One, I finished with more character than when I started. Second, the smiles outlasted the miles, all 42.4 of them. I plan on doing a race report for all three races over the next week or so but wanted to share the medals I earned over the weekend and the shirt I rushed to make in time for the race. This Disney Marathon weekend hit record cold temperatures down in Florida so it was nice to feel better prepared.

run disney long sleeved shirt.

This shirt actually ended up being one of my layers for the half and full marathons. I feel like it’s an old soldier and friend now.

I used the Yudu silver metallic ink for this shirt. The ink has held up very well.  I used this font because it matched the font on the lanyards of the medals I hoped to and did receive this past weekend.

Here they are:

2010 Disney Marathon Weekend Medals!

These medals represent six months of rigorous training for the events. I even broke my marathon personal record after running the half marathon the day before!!!! They make me smile. Stay tuned for my race reports. I am also going to get to post all my Christmas projects. LOL!

Hi! I came across your website while googling ‘Goofy’s Challenge’, out of withdrawal symptoms. I also ran the ‘Goofy’ this year and after the runner’s high I now found myself sad and missing it, wanting to do it all over again! Anyways, congratulations on your running accomplishments! Moreover, I am really impressed with all of your artworks, i.e. the shirts and paper projects! If you ever decide to make any men’s running apparel, I’d definitely be interested in buying some. Once again, congratulations and see you on the roads!
