back to reality.
Thursday, March 11th, 2010I guess for me to return, you have had to know that I was gone.
I was back in Walt Disney World this past weekend running the Disney Princess Half Marathon. It was a blast. But before I get too into that I have to finish my January Race Reports. I am going to show a drive-by card and some t-shirts today. WOOT!
This card was made using some scrap K&Co. paper I had along with some leftover felt. I loved the layout of the other card so much I altered the color scheme to keep going with it. The heart was cut with my Cuttlebug die and the sentiment is from Papertrey Ink’s Handwritten Notes.
My friend Katie’s parents are the most generous parents I know. They are always there for us whether it’s volunteering at a race, cheering us on on the course or championing us at the finish line. I wanted some way to repay them for all they do. So, I broke out the yudu and made the whole family shirts. I used the Yudu silver metallic ink to give the girlie shirts some sparkle. The Godfather’s shirt was screen in hand mixed gray with Permaset Aqua Jet Black ink for the ears. They were fun to make and I will post close-ups of each shirt soon. ![]()
